STILNOVO QUAD 8512 and 8513 are premium, architectural suspension lamps designed as a composition of repeating square modules. In this version, the luminaire works exclusively with indirect emission: it directs the light upward toward the ceiling, which then reflects and evenly fills the space with a soft, ambient glow. It is an ideal solution wherever comfort (no glare), elegance, and “clean” light that shapes the interior are essential.

Does QUAD 8512/8513 emit light downward?

No. This version is an uplight (indirect) model designed to reflect light off the ceiling. The up/down version is QUAD 8524 / 8525.

Do I need an additional power supply?

No. The power supply/driver is intended to work with the luminaire.

Can the suspension height be adjusted?

Yes. The lamp is suspended on cables, allowing the drop to be adjusted to suit the interior (up to approx. 5 m maximum).

Is DALI mandatory?

If the installation is to use dimming, appropriate DALI infrastructure/control is required. In projects, it’s best to plan this at the electrical stage.

How can I achieve the best lighting effect?

Choose a light-colored, matte ceiling and the right mounting height—when using indirect light, the ceiling reflection is crucial.
