Stilnovo Diphy 54 cm is a premium Italian LED pendant lamp designed by Mirco Crosatto. Its form recalls a single delicate petal or leaf suspended in mid-air. The most distinctive feature is its visual effect: when the fixture is off, the transparent diffuser is almost imperceptible; when switched on, the lamp becomes an elegant luminous composition with excellent visual comfort. It is an outstanding choice above a dining table, over a kitchen island, for the living room, and for hotel and office interiors.

OptiLight — What Creates the “Almost Invisible” Fixture Effect

In the Diphy collection, the key element is a transparent PMMA diffuser. Its surface features microscopic structures that capture light from the central LED module and guide it along the edges and gentle curves of the shade. As a result:

• when switched off, the lamp maintains an exceptionally light, unobtrusive presence in the space,
• when switched on, you get an even, soft glow rather than a harsh “hot spot,”
• the light remains comfortable in areas where people spend long periods (dining rooms, living rooms, reception areas, meeting rooms).

Versions — Choose Control and Color Temperature

1) Control / Dimming

• 8172 — phase-cut (leading/trailing-edge dimming): designed for classic wall dimmers. In practice, compatibility is crucial—use LED-rated dimmers to reduce the risk of flicker and a limited dimming range.
• 9090 — DALI-Push: intended for smart installations and professional projects. Ideal when you need lighting scenes, consistent control across a facility (offices, hotels, premium apartments), or integration with building automation.

2) Light Color (2700K vs 3000K)

• 2700K: the most atmospheric warm white; ideal for relaxation zones, living rooms, and restaurants.
  
• 3000K: a more versatile warm white; well suited to dining areas, kitchens, and multifunctional spaces.

In practice, 2700K versions are often also marked with an “M” in the code (e.g., 8172M / 9090M)
