La Mariee P is the essence of Italian design: a delicately illuminated, ethereal sphere of hand-blown glass in which light and material become one. Mirco Crosatto’s 2018 creation combines poetic lightness with carefully engineered optics—the lamp reads like a subtle jewel suspended in mid-air, while its surface delivers a distinctive interplay of reflections and soft chiaroscuro.

The diffuser has a subtly oval profile, allowing the light to “flow” gently around the form and spread evenly in all directions. The integrated 9W topLED provides a comfortable warm white 3000K glow, while a honeycomb anti-glare filter reduces glare. The result is refined, atmospheric zone lighting rather than harsh, point-like illumination.

La Mariee P’s sophistication is defined by its details. Inside the glass sphere sits a precisely made inner ring—depending on the version, in aluminium or with electroplated finishes—enhancing the purity of the glass and emphasising the character of each colour. A transparent suspension cable further reinforces the sensation of lightness, as if the shade were floating above the space.
