Changing trends and the development of LED technology also forces manufacturers to change the attitude to lighting and customer expectations. Today lamps are more than just an aluminum ceiling fixture or reflector. The latest solutions of European market leaders such as the Spanish company BPM Lighting offer the creation of a lamp according to your own idea using everything that is fashionable, functional and practical.

The BPM Modulight 10210 system is an aluminum profile with a width of 34mm and a height of 80mm, available in 12 colors to choose from and 4 variants of fixing, we have: a lamp hanging on ropes, a surface-mounted lamp mounted directly to the ceiling and 2 variants inset: with frame and without frame ( Trimless). Thus, the process of creating such lighting begins with choosing the form of its installation and the color of the housing. If we already have the chosen color and assembly method, we can go to the selection of individual elements of which our lamp will consist.


BPM offers us 3 independent, modern solutions that we can freely choose, place in our profile and configure according to our own idea. The first of these is the LED light line, or LED modules hidden behind a milky or prismatic diaphragm, which shine with a uniform light over the entire length, without the effect of dots. Such a ready module is available in 6 different lengths, from 28cm to 168.6cm and 3 light colors to choose from: heat 2700K or 3000K and natural 4000K. The next option that we can use are Lens LED lenses, appearing as single ones, as well as in the 3, 5 or 10 group, each with 2W power and also 3 light colors to choose from. Importantly, the number of modules and lenses is of no importance, in different places of the lamp we can use different lengths, mixing them depending on our concept.



If we decided how to arrange the lines of light and lenses or just one of these solutions, we can add additional LED spotlights with a diameter of 4cm and 8W power each to our system. They are turned, swiveled, can be attached individually, but also in group 2 or 3 on the first base. Deciding on such a reflector we choose the color of the base (the base on which it is mounted), the color of the reflector on the outside (white or black) and additionally the inner color, the angle of light and the color of light as in the previous proposals. The free space between the various systems is completed with white or black plugs, which are made to size according to the needs.



The length and shape of our lighting can be any, in the case of longer sections or straight angles we get the appropriate elements in the form of corners and metal connectors. This is how the final project looks like after all calculations have been made and the dimensions have been calculated by the designers from the BPM company, only after it has been checked and accepted by the customer, it is transferred to production.



Because the system we receive is dismantled, it must be assembled before mounting, the individual elements should be connected with connectors, the wires inside the luminaire, all luminous elements should be installed and checked before the final assembly. Only then should you proceed with its assembly. An example of how to mount the lamp in a hanging version on the lines with 3 corners. All that's left is to connect the power supply and shorten the links.




Due to the complexity of the system, it is not possible to provide its price before receiving the initial project. Such a design should contain the following information: assembly method, shape, length of individual sections and the number and length of lighting used, broken down into modules, lenses and reflectors. The entire system can be divided into several sections, for example headlamps can be separately lit, and separately, only half of the system can be lit or illuminated, for example, and the other part is lit on a separate switch. There are many possibilities in this type of solutions. Another advantage of such individual projects is the possibility to create a version of dimmable lamps. The standard system does not include such an option, but you can make lamps in the dimmable version in the DALI system, please report it at the design stage.
