For some interiors, it is difficult to choose the right lighting - usually ceiling lights do not match the chosen arrangement concept, while halogen fixtures are no longer an attractive alternative. In this case, it's worth thinking about using the LED light line - it's also an elegant and discreet way to emphasize the space and give it a unique look after dark.

What exactly is this LED light line?

A line of light is a conventional name for lighting which is characterized by uniform lighting all its surface without the effect of visible dots on LED diodes. It is a product with versatile application, stands out with its simple form, which allows its use in virtually any interior. Linear LED lighting of this kind is chosen, among others, for homes and flats, for offices and company headquarters, also for hotels, restaurants or shops. This is the latest proposal and a new trend in ceiling lighting, evenly dispersed light will well illuminate any interior.

Construction and assembly of lighting lines

Recessed light lines are designed for installation in ceilings made of drywall. As standard, light lines are available as models made of aluminum profile with a milk shield that better disperses light, giving a softer, cozy effect. Thanks to the fact that they are available in different variants of width, length, size and shapes, they can be freely adjusted to a given space, creating eye-catching constructions on ceilings or walls. We can distinguish three types of light lines for this moment:

•     ready lamps with built-in LED lighting
•     aluminum architectural profiles for independent creation of lighting with the use of LED strips
•     BPM Crismosil light lines, which are a combination of aluminum profile, plaster and LED modules.

Each of these forms is characterized by a different form of assembly. The easiest and most efficient will be ready lamps, both those made of aluminum and the series Crismosil. In the previously prepared hole we put in a lamp, which depending on the chosen variant is mounted on springs, brackets or screws, if it does not have a frame, it also requires the edging of the edges after assembly. A bit more work will require a lamp finished with a BPM gypsum material Crismosil being a mixture of plaster, resin, acrylic and glass fiber. The line is integrated into the ground and does not stand out against its background, making it an integral part of the wall or ceiling. After its assembly, the cavities in the ceiling must be filled with putty and smoothed and painted. The assembly of the profile from the series of light line depends on its type: some are mounted on latches in technical base profiles (text box), others are mounted on springs or glue. In such profiles, LED strips are mounted, usually 1-4 rows side by side depending on the needs and width of the profile, usually with high density diodes, preferably 120-160 diodes / meter.



Application of linear lighting

LED light lines are an excellent choice where there is no possibility of mounting surface lamps, in order not to lower the interior or where we want to use a modern form of lighting that will fit into a particular room, and we do not want to use standard luminous eyes. Because they can be combined with each other and create any lengths, and even patterns can be used to create a band of light to any dimension, with no visible breaks, shady places, with a transition from the ceiling to the walls in some cases.
