To securely use LED strips and enjoy their quality for a long time, you will also need additional protection profiles in the right shape. Here the choice is large and you can individually adjust them precisely to the place of assembly. Why is it worth buying LED profiles? It would seem that a ready LED strip does not require additional protection, especially when it is placed in plasterboard structures, tops, and wood, where it is protected from the eyes of the household. However, the tape itself is not enough - above all, the materials mentioned above do not adequately dissipate heat, which is the biggest enemy of the LED diode. Too high temperature on the tape, especially in its initial sections, causes their damage and considerably shortens the life of the tape! The assembly of the profiles is extremely easy because, due to their lightness, they work perfectly with self-adhesive tapes. You can also use adhesives adapted for a given substrate for installation. You can also use the fasteners, but they are dedicated exclusively to aluminum profiles, also drilling in profiles and using pins or screws. We glue the LED strip to the profile attached to it, which has a double-sided adhesive layer. In some cases, the reverse order is preferred.
